Boundary walls to north and west of Morven, and front gates and railings

Boundary walls and railings. C18 and early C19. Local lias stone cut and squared, Ham stoop dressings; wrot iron
railings. Two metres west from house on Ham ashlar walls, railings with waisted urn-shape points, with scroll traces.
Matching single gate opposite doorway, with X-pattern middle rail, top rail has small sweeps up each end. Extending
from north-west corner of house and enclosing garden north of house, lias stone wall with thin Ham stone copings about
3 metres high, on an almost continuous curve; on north side, facing Church Path, two piers with chamfered plinths and
elaborate dentilled caps above wall level, surmounted by triple steps and urn finials, in all about 4 metres high: a
prominent feature in the village and most important element in the street scene.
