C18 pair of houses. Coursed limestone rubble. No 22 has concrete pantile
roof; Grange Cottage banded old clay plain and fishscale tiles. Central red
brick ridge chimney stack and gable end stacks. Also ridge stack to centre of
no. 22. Each house 2-bay. Two storeys. N. elevation: first floor has four
2-light leaded casement windows. Ground floor: each house has central doorway
with pedimented doorhood on brackets and two timber pilasters with padstones.
Doorway to no. 22 is flanked by C20 casement windows with glazing bars.
Grange Cottage has, to right hand side, 3-light leaded casement with high
level transom. To left hand side, shallower 3-light leaded casement window.
