2/17 Strayerpark Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Probably early C19. Stone rubble. Rag slate roof with gable ends.
Brick shafts to end stacks and projecting stone rubble rear lateral stack with brick
shaft.
Plan: Double depth plan with almost central entrance. The two principal rooms on
the front are heated by end stacks and the kitchen to rear left is heated by a rear
lateral stack.
Exterior: Two storeys. Almost symmetrical 3-window front. Almost central C19 6-
panel door with slate hood flanked by two C19 3-light casements, both with dressed
stone arches. Three C19 2-light casements on first floor. The C19 casements retain
their original crown glass and several of the windows have stanchion bars. Lower
outshut on left hand side.
