House, C15 with C16 and C17 alterations. A 3-cell open hall house; 1 1/2
storeys and attics. Timber-framed and rendered. Thatched roof with C20 axial
chimney of red brick having attached flattened hexagon shafts; eyebrow casement
dormer. C20 casements with leaded lights. C20 panelled entrance door with C20
gabled thatched timber porch. A small open-hall house originally of 2 cells
with service room to left; complete soot-blackened coupled-rafter roof. The
right-hand parlour block added early C16. Back-to-back fireplaces in hall and
parlour and first floor structure inserted into hall C17.
