House, early C16 with C20 alterations. 2 storeys. Timber-framed; the framing
exposed at the front with C20 brick-nogging, rendered at the rear. Asbestos-
slated roof with axial chimneys of red brick. Mainly 3-light C19 and C20
casements. Early C19 6-panelled entrance door, with C20 open asbestos-slated
porch. Probably originally a 3-cell house; the right-hand service cell now
demolished, the parlour and most of hall surviving. An originally unglazed
diamond-mullioned window in the parlour-chamber gable. The roof rebuilt early
C20.
