Wesleyan Methodist chapel. 1871. Coursed squared sandstone with ashlar
dressings; plinth and quoins. Welsh slate roof with stone gable copings. Greek
cross plan; free Norman style. Nave with short aisles; chancel. South elevation
has gabled centre with boarded doors in double-chamfered round-headed surrounds
at left and right; keyhole windows above. Stepped buttresses, with roll-moulded
gablets above eaves, flank paired ground-floor and stepped triple gallery lights,
recessed under arches; pierced quatrefoil in gable peak, and stone ring/cross
finial. Gallery sill string. Left and right returns have one, and aisles have
2, round-headed chamfered windows Moulded finials, with wrought iron scrolls, on
gabled copings of aisles; block kneelers.
