Row of coastguards' cottages; Courage was apparently the chief coastguard's house; mid
C19, circa. 2-storeys, 10 window bays. Slate gabled roof. Colourwashed rendered
fronts. 2-light casement windows with small panes on 1st floor, some with shutters
with diamond shaped panels. Modern outshuts on ground floor. Some cottages
with 4-panelled doors.

All the listed buildings in Cobb Terrace together with Undercliff, Theos Cottage,
Nos 6 and 7 and Westfield, Cobb Road, form a group.
