Cottage, probably late C17, altered. Brick-nogged oak small frame
with diagonal braces, partly replaced in brick; clay tile roof,
formerly thatched. One storey plus attic bedrooms; 2 windows.
Boarded door on south side and (on HL hinges) in east gable end, in
wall replaced in brick. Small-pane wood casements of C19 vernacular
type. Ridge chimney of brick.

Interior: Oak-framed partition in west room, of which posts and beam
survive; replaced stair opposite chimney-stack; east room divided into
kitchen and bathroom; broad oak floor-boards in west bedroom; boards
replaced in softwood in east bedroom; oak purlins with diagonal
windbraces; rafters largely replaced.
