Late C19. Red brick with Portland ashlar dressings. Pitched slate roof with coped
gables. 3 storeys. 4 ranges of segment-headed industrial windows with glazing
bars and keystones, 2 ranges on west elevation. 1 range of planked loading doors
on west elevation, with planked sack-hoist projecting on wooden brackets. Cast
iron columns support floors internally. Machinery still in use.
1 storey outhouses to north, the 1st probably C18, the rest C19. Hammer dressed
stone. Pitched slate roofs. East elevations have various windows including 2
wood mullioned ones with iron bars and planked shutters with contemporary hinges,
and 1 C19 fixed window with glazing bars.
