Terraced houses. c.1789. Yellow brick set in Flemish bond,
stucco, roof obscured by parapet. Two and three storeys over
basement; each house has three windows to the inner,
three-storey, part and three to a two-storey entrance wing.
Round-arched entrance with cornice, sidelights, decorative
fanlight and panelled door of original design: no 1 has impost
bands decorated with palmette ornament and head keystone to
gauged brick head; no 2 has a moulded stucco architrave with
head keystone. All windows have gauged brick heads. Entrance
wings have one round-arched window to ground floor flanked by
round-arched niches; inner wings have round-arched windows set
in a round-arched recess with moulded stucco springing bands;
stucco sill band to first-floor windows, the outer three to no
2 having iron window-guards; parapet to entrance wings, and
cornice of brick and stucco to inner wings, with rebuilt
parapet above. Stacks to party wall and end stacks. Area
railings with urn standards, spike finials and overthrow
lampholder.
