Bridge over River Nidd. Probably C17, widened and extensively rebuilt C19.
Coursed squared gritstone. 2 segmental arches. North (upstream) face:
voussoirs recessed under band; large triangular cutwater rising as a
pedestrian retreat at road level. Fine selection of masons' marks on early
stone work. Parapet and flanking walls of coarsely-tooled masonry.
Downstream face: C19 work throughout.
