Terrace. c1830-40. Architect C.A.Busby. Stucco over rubble and
brick, slate roofs, continuous deep overhanging boarded eaves.
Part of terrace, abutting No.33 (qv) to north. 3 storeys over
basement, each unit 1:2 bays, full-height bows with 2-window
frontages, sash windows without glazing bars, moulded string
course and rusticated ground floor; fronted by continuous
single-storey Ionic colonnade with balustrade parapet, resting
on segmental-headed arcade at basement level interrupted by
flights of steps to entrances; rectangular fanlights and a
variety of doors. Cast-iron railings returned from entrances
along street frontage.
