Town house, now 2 shops with accommodation over. Late 1830s.
Stucco on studwork; hipped asbestos slate roof. Double-depth
corner-site plan. 2 storeys; overall 4-window range with
left-hand return into Castle Street. Original 12-pane hornless
sashes within moulded architraves. Late C19/early C20 shop
fronts with plate glass: corner shop (left) has double shop
front with splayed doorway into the bowed corner, end
pilasters and consoles to moulded entablature with fascia;
other shop has doorway on the left, slender column left of the
shop window and fascia fitted with a blind. INTERIOR not
inspected.
