Beards Monument approx 10m to N of
Church of St Leonard

GV II

Monument to George Beards (d.1817), his daughter Maria (d.
1817) and his wife Maria (d.1828). Ashlar. Square plinth on
moulded base with recessed rounded angles with imbricated
mouldings, top frieze with palm leaf motif and moulded cap.
Inscriptions in oval panels with husk border and lower panels
witn concave corners; cherubs, hour glasses and snakes to
angles.
