22m south-west of south
porch of Church of St John
the Baptist

Chest tomb. Q.1820. Sandstone ashlar. Square corner balusters, moulded
inscription panels (2 on each side and one to each end), moulded plinth
and capping. Thomas Peake, died 1820; various members of the family also
commemorated. The words "Sacred to the Memory" are cut with a flourish
of calligraphic frills.
