House in row, with shop. C17 with mid/late C18 front. Painted
brickwork facade on close-stud timber-framing, tile roof,
brick stacks.
3 storeys, attic and basement, 3-windowed. A flat-roofed and
decayed dormer behind the high parapet, then 12-pane sashes
with exposed boxes, under brick voussoirs with fluted
keystones, but central windows with decorative keys, stone
cills. The second-floor central window is blocked. Ground
floor has full-width C19 pilaster shop front in 3 square
panes, with set-back door off-centre, left. To either side of
the doorway, in the stall riser, is an elliptical head to
former basement openings. The return gable to the left has
exposed framing with rails and narrow panels; the slightly
jettied gable has exposed tie and collar, and to the rear
eaves is a lofty brick stack. The right gable has a small
cropped stack. INTERIOR not inspected.
