House. c.1820 front with probable C18 core. Ground floor red
brick with grey headers, 1st floor tile hung. Hipped old tiled
roof with brick chimneystack to right hand side. 2 storeys; 3
windows. Central 12 paned sash and end 16-pane sashes with
blind boxes to ground floor windows. Central doorcase with
flat wooden hood, paterae and pilasters. Panelled reveals, 6
panelled door and rectangular fanlight. C20 extension to left
in matching style. Right hand side has some C18 brick-work.
Rear has external brick stack and original leaded light
casement. Attached rear wing was originally one storey but was
extended to 2 storeys in C20. The interior has some C18 beams,
an early C19 staircase with scrolled tread ends, column newel
and fireplaces of the period. Some plank doors. C16 reused
floorboards.
