G.V. II

House, now 2 cottages. "JJW 1703" on datestone although
several periods of building and alteration especially early
C19 are evident. Watershot stone to front and rear, hammer
dressed stone to sides, stone slate roof. 2-storey 2-unit
plan with central entrance, made double-depth at some stage
by adding a similar range forming an M roof. The front
section appears to be the original building. A porch was
added to the left hand gable when the house was turned into
cottages. Quoins to left only: eaves raised and corbelled
eaves gutter. Central doorway and side porch have
monolithic stone surrounds with cornice hoods. 4 5-light
flat-faced mullion windows all with C20 casements. The rear
elevation has sash windows. Gable chimney stacks.
