Two town houses, now shops. Mid C19. Stucco on studwork front
with quoin strips; asbestos slate roof with moulded cornice to
projecting eaves soffit; brick end stacks; cast-iron ogee
gutters. Double-depth plan. 3 storeys; 3:1-window range.
Original 9-pane hornless sashes within moulded architraves to
2nd floor over a mid-floor band; probably later 4-pane
hornless sashes to 1st floor of No.7 and similar horned sash
to No.5, all within stucco surrounds with pilasters to No.7;
entablature with moulded and dentilled cornice hoods and on a
moulded sill string and sill brackets to both floors. No.7 has
C20 double shop front; No.5 has late C19 shop front with
plate-glass light. INTERIOR not inspected. Included for group
value.
