Attached house. c1800. Render with limestone dressings, brick
party wall stacks and slate mansard roof. Double-depth plan.
Late Georgian style.
3 storeys, attic and basement; 3-window range. An asymmetrical
front has a moulded parapet coping and right-hand canted
full-height bay. Left-of centre doorway has a bracketed canopy
and C20 six-panel door; 3-light bay has 8/8-pane and flanking
4/4-pane sashes with blind boxes, horned plate-glass sash to
the left of the doorway, first-floor with 12/12-pane and
flanking 6/6-pane bays sashes with left-hand French windows,
and 2 horned plate-glass sashes to the second floor. Single
dormer. Full-width first-floor tented timber balcony has
cast-iron brackets and railings with circular panels and
cobweb spandrels, and second-floor basket balconies. INTERIOR
not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached wrought-iron front basement area
railings and gates with urn finials, and left-hand capped,
banded piers.
