Pair of houses. 1840s. Brick with ashlar dressings; slate roof
with brick left end and centre stacks. Double-depth plan. 3
storeys; 4-window range. 1st floor sill course and top
modillioned eaves; brick end pilasters. Ground floor has bay
window to left with paired horned sashes with colonette, brick
cornice and hipped tile roof; large plastered canted bay
window to right has C20 window; 1st floor has windows with
rubbed brick flat arches, two 6-over-2-pane sashes, one C20
casement and one 12-pane sash; 2nd floor has windows with
6-pane sashes. Entrances have brick pilasters and
entablatures; No 69 with overlight and 3-panel door, No 71
with leaded glazing to half-glazed door and overlight.
