House with shop. Mid to late C19. Solid rendered front. slated
roof, gable end on to street. Rendered chimney on left side
wall. 3 storeys. 1 window wide. Romanesque style. Ground
storey has 2-paned shop window to left. Doorway to right;
plank door with moulded ribs, patterned fanlight. Second
storey originally had a 3-light window with columns between
the lights; these survive, but are disguised by a late C19
4-light wooden bay window, each light 4-paned and with a
transom-light filled with coloured glass. Above the second
storey is a prominent bracketed cornice, on which stands a
3-light Venetian-style window; between the lights are attached
columns with foliated capitals, the centre light with a blind
round-arched panel above it.
