House. Early or mid C19. Rendered solid walls to Buttgarden
and Meddon Streets. Slate roof. Old red-brick chimney with
rebuilt top on right end-wall, apparently shared with No 8
Buttgarden Street; 2 spiked pots. 2 storeys. Main 2-window
range to Meddon Street with 1-window return to Buttgarden
Street. Meddon Street front has centre doorway with raised
chamfered surround and moulded cornice on consoles; late C20
six-panelled door. Window at either side having shaped raised
surround, the sides imitating stone quoins, the head slightly
pointed. Second-storey window-surrounds similar but with flat
heads. All have 6-paned sashes; right-hand ground-storey
window has 2 lights, the sashes with horns. Buttgarden Street
windows have matching surrounds and 6-paned sashes. Raised
quoins to left of Meddon Street front and to right of
Buttgarden Street front. INTERIOR not inspected.
