Public house. Mid-late C19. Scored stucco over stone, slate
roof. 2 storeys and attic, 3:1-bay entrance front with 3-bay
right return and 1-storey, 3-bay side wing to front left.
Plinth. C20 casements with glazing bars. Bay 2 has 6-panel
door and blocked overlight in ashlar doorcase with
sunken-panelled jambs and twin consoles to triangular
pediment. Windows to outer bays have sunken apron panels and
architraves; sill band and aprons to taller 1st-floor windows.
End bay on right is recessed and set on curve. Eaves cornice
with blocking course. 2 inserted roof dormers; brick end stack
on left; right end of roof is hipped with stack on return
slope. Side wing on left (said to be converted from boathouse)
has projecting sills to tall windows.
