GV II

House. Dated 1694 with later additions and alterations. Roughly coursed
limestone rubble; stone slate roof with integral end stacks rebuilt in late C20.
2 storeys and attic. 2-window front; 2-light leaded casements with wood lintels
and C20 shutters. 2 tie beam ends visible below eaves. Hip-roofed dormer in roof
slope to right. Datestone "DI/1694" with dripmould to right gable end above
infilled window with wood lintel on first floor. Central gabled staircase
projection to rear with lean-to in angle to left. Formerly known as Lime Tree
Cottage.
