SY 39 NE WHITCHURCH CANONICORUM WHITCHURCH VILLAGE

2/189 Church Cottage

G.V. II

Single cottage. C18. Stone rubble walls, washed. Thatch roof with hipped
left hand end and gabled right hand end. 2 rendered brick stacks, one at
each gable end. 1½ storeys. 3 windows, wooden casements of 2 lights with
glazing bars. C20 porch at centre, roughcast with hipped thatch roof over.
One window with lozenge lights. Interior: open fireplace at right hand end
with wooden lintel, chamfered with run-out stops. One bay extension at left
hand end, one-storeyed with a thatch roof.
