Cottage. C17, reclad early C19. Rendered brick with plinth and Welsh slate
roof with brick right ridge and left end stacks. 2 storeys of 2 2-light horizontal
sliding sash windows with small panes. On ground floor, from left, a similar
2-light, door with 4 panels and top glazed fanlight fashion, C20 window in original
frame with roller blind over, and carriage entrance with cambered lintel beam
and plank doors. C19 2 storey wing and timber wall post to rear. Beams inside,
evidence of open fireplace, and of eaves having been raised in addition to the
timber framing said to be enclosed within the brick building. Suggests C17
timber framed building reclad. Formerly Gibsons Bakery.
