Farmhouse. Datestone inscribed: "IHE/1704". Dressed stone
with slate roof. 2 storeys, 4 bays. Base dropped to
entrance, the chamfer continued round, and 2 bands; quoins.
Hollow-chamfered surrounds to windows, with C20 paired
sashes. Entrance has moulded surround and C20 door.
Datestone between central 1st floor windows has architrave
and cable mould. Stack in roof slope. Windows to returns
have dripstones. Rear has recessed-chamfered-mullioned
windows, one of 5 lights to ground floor, of 2 lights and 4
lights to 1st floor; lean-to porch. Interior has chamfered
beams with stepped stops. Back-to-back stone fireplaces, one
with recessed Tudor-arched head, the other with corbelled
lintel; 1st floor fireplaces, one with simple chamfered
Tudor-headed opening, the other with ovolo-moulded opening
with recessed Tudor head. Some walls-are timber framed with
laths for wattle-and-daub. Stair has moulded handrail square
newels and C20 balusters.
