Row of outhouses, probably wash-houses. c1800. Uncoursed
sandstone rubble, partly painted white. Stone slate roof. Long
rectangular plan parallel to the row of cottages. Low single
storey, with plain doorways, small square windows, slender
iron gutter brackets. Ridge chimney stacks, one tall, but
mostly cut down. A good and early example of detached service
accommodation for working-class housing.
