Piers enclosing
Parish Churchyard

GV II

Churchyard Wall. C18 or later. Coursed rubble-stone wall with flat
coping-stones. Two sets of ashlar gate-piers, with low pyramidal
cap-stones, one set at centre of north wall, one at corner with Mill
Street. Cast-iron railings bedded into the coping-stones, with fleur-
de-lis heads. Cast-iron carriage-lamp supports between each pair
of piers.
