Pair of headstones. Mid to late C18. Sandstone. Northern headstone with carved
ramped segmental head, and inscription with serif lettering: "Here Rests in hope of A Joyful Resurrection the Body of Edward Shupcott/Woolcomber of this Parish
who/Departed this life Ye 1st day of ........", the rest illegible at time of survey (July 1987). Southern headstone wih nowey head and inscription with serif lettering "Sacred to the Memory/of JOHN SHAPCOTT/ who departed this Life/....... 1796/Aged 31 years" (further inscription illegible at time of survey).
