Two houses. Two ranges. No.39A to left: mid C18. Coursed limestone rubble:
gabled artificial stone slate roof, end stacks of stone finished in brick.
2-unit plan. 2 storeys; 3.-window range. C20 gabled porch. Timber lintel over
C20 casements. Interior: remodelled open fireplace. No.398 to right: Cl7; late
C18 front range of similar materials, with brick end stacks, L-plan with rear
right range. 2 storeys; 2-window range. Timber lintels over C20 door and late
C19 three-light casements. Early C19 one-storey bay to right, of similar
materials. One-storey range to rear, of similar materials with half-hipped roof.
Interior not inspected but likely to be of interest.
