Former Service Wing now family house, linked to Hall by quadrant corridor
c.1719-23 and part of the overall design of the Hall. Red brick with
stone dressings, hipped old tile roofs with parapets to E. front and
ends having gauged brick panels above windows. 2 storeys. E. front
of 13 bays, 2 bay projecting wings and 3 bay pedimented centre section
Rusticated brick piers to corners. Sash windows with gauged brick
segmental arched heads, stone keyblocks and cills onscrolled brackets.
Heavy glazing bars. Semi-circular arched windows to central section,
blank niches each side and large arched recess to ground floor. 3 bay
end elevations with similar windows, plain W. elevation with projecting
wings each end, 1 storey 1 bay projections in angles, doorways with
stone architrave surrounds and keyblocks. Quadrant at S.E. corner,
linking to N.W. corner of the Hall, red ,brick, 1 storey with outer
(W.facing ) elevation having brick pilasters with blank semicircular
arches between 3 with radiating fanlight windows, 2 with arched door
openings.
