Public house. Possibly C17 origins. Rendered and painted stone rubble and brick.
Slate roof with gable ends. Brick front lateral stack to left of centre and stone
rubble projecting end stack on right.
Plan: Possibly a 3 room and cross or through passage plan with entrance to right of
centre. Hall on higher left hand side heated by front lateral stack and kitchen on
lower right hand side heated by projecting end stack. Service wing added to rear of
lower right hand end possibly C18 and stair added in projection to rear possibly also
C18. Third storey probably added in C19.
Exterior: 3 storeys. Asymmetrical 4 window front with entrance to right of centre
and chamfered timber lintels with run-out stops to the window openings on the ground
and first floor. Pair of double sashes to left of entrance and triple sash to right.
4-panelled door. 3 double sashes on first floor and four 3-light casements on
second.
Interior: not inspected.
