Farmhouse. Late C17 with later alterations and additions. Coursed rubble with
stone dressings, plain tiled roof with raised coped verges and kneelers, gable
stacks. Symmetrical front. 2½ storeys and 5 windows, ground floor has 4 stone
cross windows with bolection-moulded mullions, transoms and surrounds, central C20
door in bolection-moulded architrave; first floor has all 2-light windows with
bolection-moulded mullions and surrounds, all C20 glazing, moulded string course
above lintels at ground and first floor level. Right return has 2-light window
at ground and first floor, at ground floor with flat mullion and iron stanchions,
at first floor as on front, two C20 windows at attic level; left return has
2-light window at ground floor as on front and C20 2-light casement in chamfered
stone surround with timber lintel, oven projection to right of stack. Rear has
catslide roof to ground floor level, one C20 window and small single storey
extension. Interior: not inspected.
