entrance to Manor House

Gate-piers and wall. Cl8. Rusticated stone. Moulded cornice with stone
grotesque beasts on top. Shell-niches on rear -face of pier with a roll-
surround. Attached ashlar stone walls with stepped coping, roll-moulded
on top. Wall runs for 60 yards at 6 feet high, until it abuts the stable-
block, and for 75 yards east of the stables until kitchen garden wall.
