(Formerly listed as House directly to south of No 6, ROSE HILL, (south side))

House. Possibly early C19. Rendered and painted stone rubble. Asbestos slate roof with eaves partly raised. Rendered chimney stack on right-hand gable end and projecting stone rubble chimney stack with brick shaft on left-hand gable end. Single depth, probably 2-room plan. Built into side of steeply stoping hill with single storey elevation to rear where the ground is higher and narrow alley on left-hand gable end. 2 storeys regular 3-window front with left-hand corner splayed on ground floor to allow access through narrow alley between property and No 28 Fore Street (qv). Ground floor and first floor with probably C20 2-light casements with leaded diamond glazing bars with C20 part-glazed door and C20 extension to front right. Interior not inspected.
