Circa 1830-40 pair. Each 3 storeys and basement, 2 windows with 2-storey, 1
window entrance extension. Gable-ended slated roof of moderate pitch with overhanging
eaves. [A long space between roof and 2nd floor windows suggests that this may
be are-fronting of a circa 1700 house. Stucco, wide band at 1st floor cills.
Plain reveals to sash windows with glazing bars. Double door of 6 panels, with
cornice head and semi-circular fanlight, in deep reveal. Moulded architrave
rests on egg-and-dart moulded impost blocks above key-patterned pilasters; the
whole framed in Ionic order with attached, fluted columns and key pattern frieze.
9 steps up to door.
