Town house with later shops. Late C18/early C19. Elvan ashlar
front with granite dressings including shallow segmental
arches, rusticated quoins and mid-floor string; steep asbestos
slate roof with brick end stacks. U-shaped plan including
wings at right-angles to rear. 2 storeys; 5-window range,
probably originally a symmetrical 5-window front with central
doorway. 3 original or early C19 twelve-pane hornless sashes
on left. No.26 has C20 traditional-style shop front with
arched light; No.28 has large C20 shop front with C20 replaced
string above. INTERIOR not inspected.
