House, now shop. Early C18 with late C19 and C20 alterations.
Stuccoed brick; tile roof with end stack. Georgian style. 2
storeys with attic; 4-window range. Top wooden modillioned
cornice with fascia. Ground floor has 1870s shop front:
panelled and fluted Composite pilasters, fascia with glass and
gilt lettering, covered by early C20 painted lettering reads
COLEMAN BROTHERS; bracketed end blocks to canopy and enriched
cast iron cresting; plate-glass windows have slender
colonnetes with enriched brackets; recessed entrance has
overlight to paired glazed doors, right-end entrance with
overlight to C20 door. 1st floor has windows with 12-pane
sashes; attic has 2 raking dormers with sliding casements.
Interior: ground floor much altered. A very fine example of a
late C19 shop front.
