GV II

Two houses, now shops. Mid to late C18 with mid C19
alterations. Plastered brick with stone dressings; concrete
tile roof with brick stacks. 3 storeys; symmetrical 3-window
range. Top modillioned cornice. Ground floor has shop fronts
flanking round-headed entry with archivolt and enriched
keystone. 1st floor has windows with fielded-panelled lintels
with consoled cornices over tripartite horned sashes flanking
narrow sash, those to right and left have round-headed side
lights; 2nd floor has 2 blocked windows and 4-pane horned sash
to right. End stack. INTERIOR not inspected. Part of a
surviving C18 row.
