GV II

House. Early C17 with C19 alterations and C20 additions to rear. Timber framed
core with rendered cladding to front, whitewashed brick below and weatherboard
cladding above on left hand return front. Four storeys with attic to centre.
Pediment/gable parapet with flanking scrolls containing arched casement window, 3
bays wide. Plat band over ground floor, projecting tiled wooden cornice over first
floor and flat band over second floor. Casement windows with drip mouldings to
second floor, glazing bar sash windows in architrave surrounds to first floor with
projecting cills. C19 glazing bar sash windows to ground floor. Central part glazed
door in lugged architrave surround with keystone over, under flat hood on volute
brackets with guttae stops. C20 single storey addition to right hand side. Arched
niche in left hand return front and C20 tike hung extensions to rear.
