Reputed 1 of oldest houses in village - formerly the bakehouse. Flints, hipped tile roof. 2 storeys, 2 windows - flat arched casements. Ground floor windows modern, with brick architraves. Red brick rusticated qoins. To rear much altered - roof has been built out over projecting addition. Graded for group value.

Malthouse Cottage, Old Barn Close, Post Office, Pelham Cottage, Nos 122, 124 and 126, and Nos 1-4 Malthouse Cottages form a group.
