House. C17. Roof pitch altered C19, Remodelled C20, Coursed ironstone and
limestone and limestone rubble, slate roof, flanking brick stacks. L-plan, 2
storeys and attic, 3 bays. Central doorway with wood lintel and C20 four-panel
door, flanked by 3-light casement windows with wood lintels. Similar windows in
outer bays on first floor, and 2-light casement window in centre. All windows on
main front renewed C20. 2-light stone mullioned window with square hood at rear.
Wing projecting at rear, C17, similar materials, 2 storeys and attic, one bay,
has 3-light stone mullioned windows with square hoods on both floors on south
side. Entrance with wood lintel and plank door in left bay on north side with
2-light stone mullioned window to right, Similar 3-light stone mullioned window
on first floor. 3-light stone mullioned window with square hoods on ground and
first floor on right side. Similar 2-light window in attic. Interior not
inspected but said to have been altered C20 with new staircase inserted and old
open fireplace rebuilt, but retains chamfered spine beams.
