Hall house. Mid-late C16, restored in C20. Timber framed on whitewashed rendered
plinth with red brick infilling; some flint rubble and knapped flint and brick
chequerwork on ground floor left. Plain tiled half-hipped roof. Two storeys; 3
framed bays with arched bracing to first floor centre bay (hall). Offset front
stack to left, end stack to right. Irregular leaded casement fenestration with
five windows to first floor and four below. Pent - roofed C20 brick porch to left
of centre with C20 stable-style door and flanking lights. Further pentice extension
to left enveloping the stack. Left hand return front:- tile hung on the first floor.
Rear:- truncated, older stack to centre, gabled dormer to left.
Interior:- Diminishing principal rafter roof with clasped purlins. C17 ceiling in
ground floor centre. A late Hall House of some importance when built.
