Fine Neobaroque design of 1901. Ashlar front, low pitched roof behind parapet.
2 storeys, channeled ground floor. Projecting centre has 1st floor Roman Ionic
order of coupled rusticated columns, entablature, tall parapet with ornate central
cartouche. 1:2:1 windows, ground floor central pair round arched with triple keystones,
flanking end windows oval with 4 keystones over segmentally hooded doorways. 1st
floor sash windows with glazing bars in surrounds with keystones and cornices,
outer windows with broken curved pediments. Architects: Blackwell and Thomson
of Leicester and Kettering.
