GV II

House. Mid C17, altered and extended later C19. Coursed squared stone with
quoins and stone dressings and Collyweston slate roof with moulded stone ridge
and end stacks. L plan with gable to left and wing projecting forward on right.
1½ storeys of 4 stone mullion windows with hood moulds: from left, 2 2-lights
in gable, 3-light, doorway with four-centred arch, and 3-light on wing facing
gable. On 1st floor, from left, 2 2-lights in gable, 2 dormers with similar
2-light windows ¼ below eaves, similar dormer in wing inner return, and 2
tiny blocked 1-lights in wing gable. On left end a 1½ storey and a 1 storey
extension. Inside arc chamfered beams, low wide doorways and an inglenook.
