SK 1810-1910 ELFORD C.P. CHURCH ROAD (South-west side)

10/72 The Forge
GV II

House. Possibly late C17, restored late C19. Timber framed with
brick infill; plain tile roof; brick integral end stacks with lozenge
shaped shafts. Aligned north-west/south-east facing north-east. One
storey and attic; 3 square panels to eaves and straight braces, 3 bays,
C20 casements, the ground floor windows have hood moulds, gabled attic
dormers; central door with gabled timber porch. Single-storey lean-
to extension to the left. Exposed roof trusses of house, V-struts
above the collar and 3 Vertical struts below.
