Two houses. Circa 1600, underbuilt, refaced and eaves raised in early
C19, and mid- to late-C19 additions. Pebbledashed timber frame with
slate roofs. 2 framed bays with later framed bay over former carriage-
way to right. 2 storeys to left and 3 storeys to right. C20 stack at
front off-centre to right. Left-hand block: 2 window front, late-C20
casements; C20 glazed door in right-hand return front; Right-hand
block: late Cl9, one 2-light casement on first and second floors;
former carriageway beneath. Interior: evidence of former first floor
jetty to left-hand block, underbuilt during alterations, probably in
the early Cl9 (c.f. No. 54, Church Street g.v.). Included on account
of concealed construction.
