Originally a small church mainly of circa 1200, much altered 1811 and restored 1874-6,
now with a large extension of 1960-62 by John Glanfield. Exterior rendered. Lady
chapel and crenellated tower of circa 1530. Windows of 2 lights with rectangular
dripmoulds. Interior retains a plain arch of circa 1200 in the chancel, which has
a C13 picsina. Geometrical blank tracery in the north aisle of circa 1290 probably
the remains of a memorial. Remains of a rood screen of circa 1540. Good C15 and
C16 memorial brasses. (RCHM, VCH, NMR).
